This is a beautiful antique art deco period 18ct gold, platinum, princess cut sapphire and 0.24ct diamond milgrain ring in a size N, US 6 3/4. It is in very good condition considering its age and is stamped with '18ct Plat' as pictured. The band measures approximately 2mm in width and the head of the ring measures around 1.1 x 1cm. The stones are set into a thin layer of platinum with milgrain detail which sets them off beautifully. The sapphire measures around 4 x 4mm and there are 8 diamonds, each measuring around 2mm (0.03ct each, approx), with an estimated combined carat weight of around 0.24ct. It weighs approximately 2.5g.
