This is a beautiful, charming original antique Victorian (circa 1873) 15ct gold, garnet and split seed pearl ring, in a size O, US 7. The garnets measure around 4mm (larger ones) and 2.5mm (smaller ones) and have slightly varying colours which is not really noticeable to the naked eye, but obvious on the photo's as a flash was used. The seed pearls measure around 3.5mm (outer stones) and 2.5mm (central stones). The band has an intricate engraving all the way around, typical of the Victorian period, but this has worn due to age and wear. It's condition is commensurate with age (it is 152 years old!), with a small chip on one of the garnets as pictured, but this is only noticeable upon close inspection (more obvious is the photos as they are close ups). The head of the ring measures 18 x 9mm and the band is around 2mm in width. It is fully hallmarked as pictured for Birmingham 1873 and it weighs around 2.1g. Box for display only but alternative provided.
