This is a stunning antique Victorian (circa 1890) 18ct gold, platinum and 1.11ct diamond daisy ring, in a size O, US 7 1/4. The stones are set into a platinum setting with millegrain detail, which sets them off beautifully. The central diamond is an old European cut diamond, measuring approximately 5.3mm in diameter, with a depth of 3.46mm. The calculated weight of the central diamond is 0.61ct. It is G/H colour and I2 clarity. The ten surrounding diamonds are out-of-round old Swiss cut diamonds, each varying in size slightly, from 2.2mm to 2.6mm. The calculated total weight of the outer diamonds is 0.50ct. They are K/L in colour and I2-I3 clarity. The head of the ring is around 1.1cm in diameter, with a depth of around 5mm. It is in very good overall condition considering it's age of 135 years. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1890 as pictured, and it weighs around 3.7g.
