This is a charming antique Victorian 18ct gold platinum and diamond ring, in a size L1/2, US 6. The stones are set into a thin layer of platinum, and measure around 3.5mm (central stone), 3mm (top and bottom stones) then on each shoulder there are two at around 1.5mm and two at around 1.25mm. They are an old cut and I would estimate the combined diamond weight to be somewhere around 0.50ct. The central stones have a rubover setting. I do not know the colour or clarity as I am not qualified to judge this. There is worn milgrain detail to the ring also. It's general condition is good and commensurate with age and use (it is over 120 years old!), with some scratching to the edge and inner band as pictured, where the gold has been tested, though this does not show when worn. The head of the ring is around 1cm top to bottom and 1.5cm side to side. It is stamped with '18ct' along with a makers stamp and some numbers as pictured, and it weighs around 2.6g.
