This is a truly stunning, and very large 9ct gold opal and natural ruby halo ring in a size P, (US 7 3/4). The opal is very large, measuring around 1.5 x 1.2cm, and is a whole stone, not a doublet or triplet. There are 20 x 2mm rubies surrounding this (an estimated 0.03ct each, approx). The band measures around 2mm wide and 1mm in depth. The total head size is a whopping 2.2 x 1.8cm with a depth of around 6mm, so is a very good size. It is in very good overall condition though there is one small claw that has snapped off, and one claw tip missing. However, there are lots of claws so this does not affect the integrity of the stone in any way (see pictures). It is fully hallmarked for 9ct gold as pictured and is a respectable weight at around 4.7g. Any questions please ask. Box for display only but alternative supplied.
