This is a truly stunning, and very large vintage 9ct gold opal and natural sapphire halo ring in a size N, (US 6 3/4). The opal is very large, measuring around 1.4 x 1.1cm, and is a whole stone, not a doublet or triplet. (There is a hairline crack on the opal which is barely visible to the naked eye (much more obvious in the photo's than in the flesh, as they are zoomed in to show detail). There are 14 x 3mm (approx) sapphires surrounding this. The band measures around 2mm in width. The total head size is a whopping 2 x 1.5cm with a depth of around 7mm, so is a very good size. It is in very good overall condition apart from the aforementioned hairline crack. It is fully hallmarked as pictured for London 1976 and weighs around 3.9g. Any questions please ask.
