This is a fabulous and fairly large antique, art deco period, 18ct gold sapphire and diamond domed bombe ring in a size L, US 5 3/4. The stones are set into the most beautiful white gold setting. It has a star, and elegant arch shapes that have milgrain detail, which compliments the stones beautifully. The main diamond measures around 3mm (0.11ct approx), and there are 12 x small 1mm diamonds (0.005ct each, approx). I would estimate the total combined carat weight to be somewhere around 0.17ct. The sapphires each measure around 2.3mm and there are 18 in total. The band measures approximately 2mm in width and is nice and solid, and the head of the ring measures around 1.5 x 1.4cm with a depth of around 9mm, so is a fairly good size. The hallmark has pretty much worn away, but you can just about make out part of the '18' (for 18ct) when looked at through magnification. This has also been fully tested and confirmed as 18ct gold on our gold tester. It is in excellent condition considering it's age of around 100 years, and it is a respectable weight at approximately 6.3g. Any questions please ask. Box for display only but alternative supplied.
