This is a fabulous and fairly large antique, art deco period, 18ct gold sapphire and diamond cocktail ring in a size P, US 7 3/4. The stones are set into the most beautiful white gold setting which has floral detail. The central sapphire is very dark blue in colour and sits east to west, and measures around 8 x 6mm. The other 2 sapphires are round, and measure around 3mm each. There are 14 x small 1mm diamonds (0.005ct each, approx). I would estimate the total combined carat weight to be somewhere around 0.07ct. The band measures approximately 2.5mm in width, and and the head of the ring measures around 1.9 x 1.6cm with a depth of around 8mm, so is a good size. It is stamped with '18ct' as pictured. This has also been fully tested and confirmed as 18ct gold on our gold tester. It is in very good condition considering it's age of around 100 years, apart from a small test scratch on the inside of the band where the gold has been tested, but this is only small and cannot be seen when worn.
