This is a stunning vintage (circa 1965) large 9ct gold emerald cut blue sapphire statement ring in a size O, US 7 1/4. The sapphire is a very good size, measuring around 1.8 x 1.3cm. The depth of the stone setting is around 8mm. This is a real sapphire, it is not glass or plastic, that has been grown in a lab, and is chemically identical to an earth mined stone. The diamonds are natural earth mined stones. The band is around 2mm wide at the back. It is in good overall condition and is fully hallmarked as pictured.
