his is a large vintage 9ct gold natural marbled ruby solitaire cocktail heart ring in a size P, US 7 3/4. It is fully hallmarked as pictured for Birmingham 1991. The ruby is quite unusual, it is opaque and has a marbled effect. It is a good size, measuring around 1.3cm x 1.1cm and is set within an openwork design setting, with open hearts on each shoulder. The band measures around 1.5mm in width at the back. It is in good general condition with only light signs of use but nothing drastic (there is a very tiny nibble on the edge of the stone, but this is only noticeable through magnification, but mentioned for accuracy). It weighs approximately 2.7g in total.
