This is a vintage 9ct gold oval opal solitaire ring in a size M1/2, US 6 1/2. The opal measures 11 x 6mm and has a rubover setting. It flashes colours of purple and green, with a little red and orange tint when moved around in the light. The band is around 1.5mm wide and the total head size is around 1.8 x 0.7cm with a depth of around 3mm. It is in good overall condition and is fully hallmarked as pictured for London 1986.
